About the role
Do you have the skills and experience to engage and build positive trusting relationships with parents, children and young people to inspire them to make positive changes and improve life opportunities?
We have a great part time (30 hours) opportunity within our Family Time (supervised contact) Team, which supports children separated from their families allowing them to spend nurturing, fun and family-focused time together.
You will need to travel across Northamptonshire and sometimes outside of county, at times you may transport children and travel between family homes, hubs and contact venues.
We welcome interest from both new applications and those who applied previously as long as the gap between applications is more than 3 months.
What will you be doing?
You will organise, supervise, record and assess child Family Time with the needs and safety of the child as the paramount concern.
You will work as part of a team, carrying out and developing the duties and responsibilities of this post, liaising with parents/carers and professionals to ensure that Family Time meets the changing needs of children and families that reside within Northamptonshire.
You will work approximately one Saturday a month on a rota basis and be flexible to ensure the needs of children and families are met.
Your base location will be aligned to your home, and you will be expected to travel across and outside of Northamptonshire.
