You will be responsible for completing planned delivery routes safely, efficiently and professionally.Key responsibilities• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle in line with road safety and legal requirements• Completing multidrop deliveries, typically involving more than 10 drops per shift• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after journeys• Loading, securing and checking goods where required• Completing delivery paperwork accurately• Providing polite and professional service at delivery locations• Reporting any vehicle, delivery or route issues promptlySkills and qualifications• Current HGV Class 2 driving entitlement• Experience of multidrop delivery work, with more than 10 drops• Good knowledge of road safety and safe vehicle operation• Reliable, organised and punctual approach• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules• Professional communication skills• Good standard of care when handling vehicles, goods and paperworkBenefits• £16 per hour• Permanent employment• Day shifts• Paid every WednesdayThis is a good opportunity for a dependable HGV Class 2 Driver who is comfortable with regular multidrop work and wants a permanent driving position in Swindon.Apply today.
