Health & Social Care Lecturer.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching and support learners in achieving their academic and career goals.

Salary: Up to £40 per hour
Contract: Temporary / Contract

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Health & Social Care lessons to FE learners.
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in line with curriculum and awarding body requirements.
- Teach across relevant Health & Social Care programmes and qualification levels.
- Assess learner work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Monitor learner progress, attendance and achievement.
- Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and teaching materials.
- Support learners with different abilities and learning needs.
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement.
- Provide appropriate academic and pastoral support to learners.
- Maintain accurate learner and assessment records.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support positive learner outcomes.
- Ensure safeguarding, equality, health and safety and college policies are followed.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience teaching
- Strong subject knowledge across Health & Social Care.
- Experience delivering vocational qualifications such as
- A relevant Health & Social Care qualification.
- A recognised teaching qualification such as
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Experience assessing learner work and providing constructive feedback.
- A genuine passion for supporting learners and helping them achieve their potential.
- Relevant industry experience within Health & Social Care would be advantageous.
Health & Social Care within Further Education or a similar educational setting.
BTEC, NCFE, CACHE or T Level programmes would be desirable.
PGCE, Cert Ed, DET, DTLLS or equivalent is desirable.
