Location: Crawley / Copthorne
Pay: £14.73 per hour
The Best Connection Group are currently seeking an experienced
Van Driver - Crawley to join our well-established client,
DHL, based at their site in
Copthorne.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure regular work during the busy seasonal period, running from November through to Christmas.
What We Offer
- Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
- 08:30-18:00 daytime shifts
- Full training and ongoing support
- Regular seasonal work with potential for longer-term opportunities
£14.73 per hour PAYE
£22.10 - Higher rate is achieved by working overtime or Bank Holidays
Responsibilities as
VAN DRIVER - CRAWLEY
:
- Deliver 65-100 parcels per day across the local area
- Drive company vans between the depot and delivery locations
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Accurately record deliveries and collections
- Provide a professional and friendly service to customers
- Follow all company, site and security procedures
What We're Looking For
- A valid Category B (manual) driving licence
- 5 years of referenceable work history
- A clear DBS check or Overseas Police Clearance Certificate (if applicable)
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to safety
Pass a van driving assessment (no minimum years of experience needed)
