Teaching Assistant Grade 3Grade 3 SCP 5 – 6 (24,790 - £25,183) PRO-RATA28.75 hours per week - Term time only Start Date ASAPThe roleLlanwern High School is looking to appoint an experienced Learning Support Assistants to support pupils from across the key stages. This post will involve working with pupils on a one-to-one basis, small group situations in our Alder provision setting. The successful candidate will be able to familiarise themselves with the educational needs of pupils and draw on information provided by the school and ALNCO in order to provide the best support possible. We are looking for candidates who are motivated, patient and supportive. Full details regarding this position can be found in the Job description and person specification.Our schoolLlanwern High School is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school serving much of the eastern side of Newport. We are housed in a new building that provides a learning environment and facilities appropriate for a 21st century school. We currently have just over 1100 pupils on roll.
