Summary

Admin Officer

Location: Cardiff, CF10-3PG Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Pay rate: £12.86ph

Are you at your best when you're helping people, keeping services running smoothly, and turning complex queries into clear next steps? Our Client is hiring for an Admin Officer to be the first point of contact to support with daily administrative and operational work that has a real impact on the delivery of justice

Role Requirements

  • Supporting the preparation and smooth facilitation of court hearings
  • Aiding court users, legal professionals, and stakeholders
  • Responding to enquiries in a professional and timely manner

  • Carrying out general administrative duties
  • Following complaints procedures where necessary
  • Managing courtrooms and ensuring they are set up correctly
  • Acting as a point of contact within the court, including ushering duties
  • Supporting juries, judiciary, and members of the public attending court

This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same, offering a unique insight into the justice system.

We are looking for someone who is professional, adaptable, and confident working in a busy and sometimes sensitive environment.

You will demonstrate:

  • Good IT literacy and administrative ability
  • The ability to remain calm and composed under pressure

Experience

While previous administrative or customer facing experience is desirable, the most important requirement is a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively with people.

  • Enhanced DBS clearance required (Brook Street will support this process)
