Summary
Skilled Press Brake Operator
Up to £18.00 per hour
37.5 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Friday: 11:30am – 5:00pm
Tandem Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a busy engineering and manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role, so you will need to have good experience setting and operating Press Brake machinery and be confident working from engineering drawings.
The role
• Setting and operating Press Brake machinery
• Working with different types and thicknesses of sheet metal
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Checking finished parts for accuracy
• Making adjustments to the machine when required
• Working to quality and production standards
• Following health and safety procedures
About you
We are looking for someone with solid experience setting and operating a Press Brake. You will need to be confident working independently and producing accurate work to drawing.
You will ideally have:
• Previous Press Brake setting and operating experience
• Good understanding of engineering drawings
• Experience working with sheet metal
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work accurately and independently
• A reliable and flexible approach to work
• Availability to work the late shift
Pay: Up to £18 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
