Summary
We are a well-established wholesale distributor of building materials and ancillaries, based in Colwick/Netherfield, Nottingham, and we’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join our team.
You’ll be making deliveries across the Midlands, delivering building products including boxes of silicone tubes and lengths of plastic up to 5 metres long. The role is hands-on and physically demanding, so you’ll need to be comfortable with regular loading and unloading and manual handling.
What you’ll be doing
● Loading your vehicle and ensuring goods are safely and securely stacked
● Planning suitable delivery routes using GPS/maps
● Making multiple deliveries across the Midlands
● Safely unloading goods at customer sites
● Checking quantities and obtaining delivery signatures
● Providing friendly, professional customer service
● Taking payments where required
● Completing delivery and vehicle paperwork
● Carrying out routine vehicle checks and reporting any defects
● Occasionally collecting goods from suppliers/warehouses elsewhere in the Midlands
● Working closely with our warehouse and office teams
