Summary
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream school in Bradford who are looking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant. The school provides an inclusive and supportive learning environment, ensuring children with SEND receive the additional support they need to access their education.
The school is looking to take on a SEND Teaching Assistant for day-to-day or long-term work with an Immediate Start. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will provide classroom and 1:1 support, helping pupils engage with learning, manage their individual needs and develop their confidence within a mainstream classroom.
The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience supporting children with SEND
• Experience supporting children with additional needs within a mainstream classroom
• Experience providing 1:1 support
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
