Summary

Personal Assistant / Evening Companion Required

Location: Aberystwyth(Work to be undertaken at this location)

Rate of Pay: £14 PER HOUR

A kind, reliable Personal Assistant is required to provide companionship and reassurance for an elderly lady in her own home.

The role is mainly to provide a reassuring presence during the evening while her primary carer attends regular social activities. The lady will often be asleep for much of the shift, but may occasionally wake and require reassurance, a drink, or someone to sit with her until she settles again.

Duties may include:

• Being present in the home during the agreed hours.

• Providing companionship and reassurance if she becomes unsettled or calls out.

• Offering drinks and light assistance as required.

• Ensuring she feels safe, comfortable and supported.

Hours:

• Two evenings per week.

• Approximately 3-4 hours per shift.
