This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Technician to join a family-run automotive business in Richmond.

You'll be working within an established workshop environment where quality workmanship, efficiency and customer service are highly valued. This role would suit a skilled and enthusiastic Vehicle Mechanic looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to build a long-term career within a supportive team.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out a range of servicing, maintenance, diagnostic and repair work while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:

·Carrying out a variety of servicing, maintenance and repair operations.

·Diagnosing vehicle faults and completing necessary repairs.

·Performing defined assembly operations and maintenance repairs to a high standard.

·Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and in accordance with safety and manufacturer standards.

·Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all service and repair work.

·Providing excellent customer support, technical advice and guidance where required.

·Working effectively as part of a professional and supportive workshop team.

About You

To be considered for this Vehicle Technician position, you'll ideally have:

·NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair - essential.

·At least

2 years' experience working as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or within the automotive industry.

·Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.

·Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance, servicing and repair procedures.

·A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.

·Excellent attention to detail and a professional approach to your work.

·A positive, hard working and team-focused attitude.

·Your own tools and toolbox.

·A full manual UK driving licence - essential.

Licence checks will be carried out.

A current MOT Tester licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
