We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multiskilled Engineer with a Plumbing bias (L3Z2) to join our Facilities & Environment team. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency and safety of our plumbing systems within our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in plumbing engineering coupled with a broad skillset across multiple engineering disciplines to effectively support various facets of our environmental and facilities management initiatives. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and contributing to sustainable environmental practices. This position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent technical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team. Responsibilities
Carry out maintenance, inspection, and repair of plumbing systems within the facility.
Install new plumbing infrastructure and ensure integration with existing systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Ensure all plumbing work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to support multi-skilled facility maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out, including maintenance logs and compliance records.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing system reliability and environmental performance.
Support emergency response actions related to plumbing and associated facilities infrastructure.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineering staff and contractors.
