GMMH Specialist Service CareGroup arelooking torecruitacommittedanddynamicHCPCpsychologisttoworkwithintheMilitary Veterans,multi-disciplinarypsychological therapy service as a Clinical Lead, toprovidepsychologicalleadershipaspartoftheMilitary Veterans Service within thePsychologicaltherapiesprovision.
Thepostholder,whilstworking atthe Military Veterans service, willbeexpected tocarryoutdetailed assessmentstodevelop specialist formulations and recommendations for ongoing multi-disciplinary support andmanagementandprovidetherapeuticadviceorintervention. Theywill alsooverseeandsupportthepsychologicaltherapyprovisionprovidedacrossthestepped-caremodelofmentalhealthdeliverywithinMilitary Veterans Service,includingprovidingclinicalsupervisiontootherprofessionalsworkingwithinthepsychologicaldeliveryofcare.
Tocompletedetailedandthoroughpsychologicalassessmentsincludingthe interpretationand integration ofcomplexpsychological datafromavarietyofsources.
To provide appropriate bio/neuro-psycho-social formulations considering arange of factors. To consider the neurodevelopmental presentations andidentifythosethatmayrequireadditionalassessment.Toconsiderthosethatmayrequirereferraltotheexternal agencies or crisis pathwaysandmakereferralstoappropriateservices.
Toprovideconsultationandadvicebaseduponanalysesoftherangeofavailablepsychological information concerning serviceusers.
To exercise responsibility for implementing a range of psychologicalinterventionswithserviceusersandsupportingandsupervisingotherstodo so,includingreformulation,monitoringandfollowup.
Tocontributetothemulti-disciplinaryteam'spsychologicalunderstandingofserviceusersandofferguidanceandsupervisiontoothersinvolvedin thecareandmanagementofaserviceusertoimprovementalhealthoutcomes.
ToattendweeklyMDT meetingstoinformappropriateallocationand toofferpsychologicallyinformed decision making.
Tosupervise,thedeliveryofpsychologicalinterventionsaspartofmulti-disciplinarycareplanning.
