Teacher of GeographyHastings Start Date: ASAP / January 2027 Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available Competitive rates of payHays Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Geography to work in secondary schools across Hastings and East Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their careers within supportive and welcoming school environments.As a Geography Teacher, you will inspire students to develop an understanding of the world around them, delivering engaging lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning.The Role

Deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4

Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements

Support student progress and attainment

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Manage behaviour effectively and maintain high classroom standards

Contribute to the wider school community where appropriate

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching Geography within a secondary school setting

Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

A commitment to raising student achievement

Excellent communication and organisational abilities
