Summary
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at a private school in Oxford. You will run your own section and help prepare fresh, high-quality meals for pupils and staff, with no evenings or weekends.
Responsibilities
• Run your section and cook to a consistently high standard
• Prepare fresh, varied menus for pupils and staff
• Follow food hygiene, allergen and health and safety procedures
• Help with stock, deliveries and keeping the kitchen clean
• Support the Head Chef and work well in a busy, friendly team
Requirements
• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, or a strong Commis ready to step up
• Good knowledge of food safety and allergens
• Food hygiene certificate (Level 2 or above) preferred
• Organised, reliable and able to work under pressure
•
Enhanced DBS certificate required
