Tractor Driver - Aberdeenshire - £28,000 - £30,000 - Monday to Friday + Seasonal Overtime Including Weekends & Bank Holidays

The Job:

An established agricultural business is looking for a Tractor Driver/Sprayer Operator to join its team in Aberdeenshire.

The successful candidate will provide a professional spraying service across customer farms, ensuring machinery is operated safely and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer service. The role will also provide opportunities to support wider agricultural and workshop activities throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operating agricultural spraying equipment across customer fields

- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the contract sprayer and associated equipment

- Carrying out daily safety and machinery checks before and after use

- Reporting any equipment faults or issues to management

- Carrying out sprayer MOTs and inspections on customer machinery

- Undertaking soil sampling

- Supporting workshop duties during the quieter winter period

- Maintaining a high standard of customer service when working with farmers and customers

- Working additional seasonal hours, including weekends and bank holidays, when required

The Company:

This is an established, family owned agricultural business with a long standing reputation for supporting farmers through professional agronomy and crop production services. The business works closely with farmers to help produce healthy crops efficiently and sustainably, providing a range of agricultural services across the region.

The Candidate:

- Previous experience operating an agricultural sprayer is desirable

- PA1 and PA2 Sprayer Certificates are required

- Strong commitment to safe working practices

- Good customer service and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for machinery and equipment

- Forklift experience/certification desirable

- Quad bike experience desirable

- A practical agricultural background would be advantageous
