We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable multi-franchise car dealer group established since 1971, to find a skilled and experienced MOT Tester for their busy dealership in Brislington, Bristol. - Salary up to £36,000 per annum, dependent on experience and franchise qualifications

- Monthly performance-related bonus scheme, roughly £4,000-£6,000 annually

- Overtime paid at standard rate, subject to availability

Duties of the MOT Tester:

- Carrying out MOT tests on customer vehicles to Ministry standards

- Assisting with vehicle servicing and repair work

- Conducting pre-delivery inspections and used car preparation

- Ensuring the workshop maintains a high standard of quality and efficiency

- Liaising effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction

Requirements of the MOT Tester:

- Valid Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence

- UK driving licence with minimal points

- Ideally, qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

- Alternatively, individuals with extensive vehicle mechanic experience and an active MOT licence will also be considered

- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively

- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm (some flexibility available)
