HMP Altcourse is the busiest remand prison in the country, so there's lots going on in this exciting, varied role, where you will gain valuable experience, and no 2 days are ever the same! As a Primary Care Nurse, you will be based across multiple areas of the prison, including the healthcare department, planned care services, prison wings, and emergency response and a background ideally in A&E and long term conditions. HMP Altcourse offers: Onsite parking Career & development opportunities Hours: Monday - Sunday service - 37.5 hours per week Various shift patterns between the hours of 7am - 10pm Nights 7.45pm - 7.15am 1 weekend in 2/ 3 Rota's are done 2 months in advance Salary This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £34,428 - £41,658 per annum FTE depending on experience.
