Summary

Quality Inspector

Salary: Competitive, DOE | Electronics Industry |

We are recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a well-established and growing electronics manufacturer. Working within the Final Inspection department, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet strict quality standards and customer requirements before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect products against engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements, identifying any manufacturing defects prior to delivery.

Carry out visual inspections and electronic testing to ensure products meet quality and compliance standards.

Record inspection results, test data, and quality documentation accurately.

Complete ISIR, PPAP, and FAIR documentation.

Use a range of measuring equipment, including micrometers and verniers.

Raise and escalate non-conformances and quality concerns to the Quality Engineer for investigation.

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality function.

Requirements

A genuine interest in electronics engineering and quality assurance.

Previous experience within electronics inspection is highly desirable.

Knowledge and understanding of IPC standards would be advantageous.

Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.

Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.

Willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
