This temporary position offers competitive pay and regular weekly payment.About the companyThis Barnsley-based food delivery business supplies a broad range of foodservice products and operates local distribution activity. The wider business provides online ordering and delivery services, with a local depot supporting customers in the surrounding area. This role offers the opportunity to join an established operation on a temporary night-shift assignment.Key responsibilities• Carry out multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently• Complete vehicle checks before and after each shift• Load, secure and deliver goods in line with company procedures• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures where required• Provide professional customer service at delivery locations• Follow all road safety, transport and health and safety requirements• Report any vehicle, delivery or product issues promptlySkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 licence, Category C• Valid Driver CPC qualification• Valid digital tachograph card• Previous HGV driving and delivery experience• Good knowledge of road safety and drivers’ hours regulations• Reliable, punctual and able to work night shifts• Physically able to assist with loading and unloading• A professional and customer-focused approachBenefits• £16.00 to £16.50 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Temporary night-shift work• Opportunity to be visible to local employersThis Role: - Monday - Friday- 21:30pm start time- 4 hours per shift but will be paid 8 hours- Immediate start Apply today.
