Summary
Year 1 Class Teacher

The role:
- Full teaching responsibility for a Year 1 class
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Creating a positive and structured classroom environment
- Working closely with support staff, colleagues, and parents
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- Be a strong and confident classroom practitioner
- Demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills
- Be capable of supporting a class with a higher level of need
- Be resilient, proactive, and committed to achieving positive outcomes for all pupils
