Summary
The Best Connection Warrington
are recruiting Class 1 HGV Shunters on behalf of our client based in Runcorn.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers across the site, supporting both production and distribution operations.
This is a full-time role based on a
4 on 4 off shift pattern, with
12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
Responsibilities:
- Coupling and uncoupling trailers using Terberg shunt units.
- Maintaining trailer supply.
- Completing trailer checks, including keg counts, trailer census at shift start and configuration sheets to ensure accuracy before dispatch.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of shunting operations using a Terberg shunt unit.
- Verifiable references.
Valid CE licence with 1
year experience
for insurance purposes.
Maximum 6 points for minor offences.
