Summary

Inclusion Practitioner (26/351)

£25,250 FTE (£20,848.31 pro rata per annum)

37 hours per week, 36 weeks per year

Fixed term until 30th June 2027

Location: The Grimsby Institute

TEC Partnership is made up of four colleges, two training providers, a 14-16 provision and a nursery, stretching from Scarborough to Skegness with a Nottingham based campus also.

We are now looking for someone who shares that commitment to join us in the role of Inclusion Practitioner.

About the role

In this role you will deliver daily 1:1 or small group support tailored to meet the learners’ needs as set out in their Support Plans. You will be encouraging student confidence, self-reliance, and independent learning rather than creating dependency.

Providing support for emotional regulation, social development, and positive behaviour management strategies, you will also attend to personal, physical, or medical care needs as specified, while promoting dignity and independence in our learners.

A big part of this role is working as part of a supportive team, where we strive to achieve the best for our learners.

About the person

We are looking for someone who has experience and knowledge of SEND, and how these learners need to be supported in order to overcome barriers to learning.

This role would suit those who have experience working within education or supporting young people with SEND. You will need to be able to think on your feet, have empathy, patience and be flexible.

Holding GCSE or equivalent level 2 Maths & English qualifications is essential.
