Summary

Site Manager – Braintree

3 Positions Available | Residential New Build | £60,000–£70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

We are currently working with an established residential house builder who is looking to appoint

three Site Managers across three new developments in

Braintree, Essex.

Each development will consist of approximately

120–150 traditional-build units, offering the opportunity to join a well-established project team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality residential development.

The Role

Working as part of the site delivery team and reporting into the Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your section of the development, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with the wider site team, subcontractors and trades to maintain progress and resolve any issues throughout the build.

Key responsibilities will include:

    • Managing the day-to-day construction activities across your area of the development

    • Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site activities

    • Ensuring construction is delivered in line with programme and build specifications

    • Maintaining high standards of quality throughout the build

    • Monitoring progress and reporting to the Senior Site Manager

    • Managing health & safety requirements and maintaining a safe working environment

    • Carrying out regular inspections and quality checks

    • Coordinating with other members of the site team to ensure smooth project delivery

    • Supporting the delivery of the development through to completion and handover

    About You

    We are looking for experienced

    Site Managers with a strong background in

    traditional-build residential construction.

    You will ideally have:

      • Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential new build

      • Strong knowledge of traditional construction methods

      • Experience managing subcontractors and trades

      • A good understanding of programme, quality and health & safety

      • Strong communication and organisational skills

      • A proactive approach to site management and problem solving

      • Relevant construction management qualifications, ideally including an

      NVQ Level 6
