Summary

As a General Assistant you will be the first point of contact for our guests when they arrive and the last person they see when they leave. Your day-to-day
- Greeting all arriving guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Assisting guests with luggage if required
- Answering any guest queries and providing local knowledge and assistance if required
- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas
- Assisting front desk staff with guest requests, such as luggage storage or providing guest supplies.
- Monitoring the Monscierge information system and ensuring the information is accurate and up to date.
- Monitoring stocks of city maps and information leaflets.
- Answering incoming telephone enquiries at peak times.
- Monitoring queues for IHG Rewards Elite Members and directing them to dedicated check in/out desk at peak times.
- Delivering a meaningful farewell to all guests and assisting with onward transport.
- Assisting the Duty Manager with other hotel operations when requested
What we need from you
- Excellent customer service skills
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Must speak fluent English
