Summary

We are looking for an IT & Library Assistant to join our fantastic team at the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group!

Libraries play a vital role within the Group, providing assistant and guidance to all staff and students, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to help us deliver exceptional service.

You will:

· Provide customer facing technical support for mobiles, laptops and software applications at Tier 1 IT level

· Undertake administrative duties to ensure the effective operation of the Library and IT helpdesk

· Develop and promote access to resources both in the library and through a strong online presence

· Assist in the collection of resources and maintain stock

This is a customer facing role, where you will regularly liaise with a range of staff and students to provide a quality service.

You will have:

· GCSEs in English and Maths A*-C/9-4 or equivalent

· Level 2 IT qualification or equivalent IT experience/skills

· Experience of liaising with customers in a busy environment

· Experience of using Microsoft Office for administration
