We’re looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Integration Developer in the Software Development Team.

At Karbon Homes, our technology teams play a vital role in delivering services that improve the lives of our customers. We’re investing in modern, secure, and scalable integration solutions that connect people, systems, data, and services across our organisation and partner network.

About The Role

Join Karbon Homes as an Integration Developer and help shape the future of integration services across our organisation.

You'll design, develop, support, and enhance integrations between internal and external systems, helping to ensure our technology ecosystem is secure, resilient, and efficient. Working with technologies including REST APIs, Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, Azure, SQL, and integration platforms such as MuleSoft, you'll develop innovative solutions that enable seamless data exchange and business process automation.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with architects, business analysts, operational teams, third party suppliers, and fellow developers to deliver modern API led and cloud-based integration services that directly support customer services, housing operations, and tenancy management.

You'll play an important role in driving continuous improvement, automation, DevOps practices, and integration governance whilst helping Karbon Homes deliver an outstanding service to customers.

About You

We're looking for an Integration Developer who combines strong technical capability with a collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

You'll be:

  • Experienced in designing, developing, and supporting integrations between business systems.

    • Skilled in Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, relational databases, and API development.

      • Knowledgeable in REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, API security, OAuth2, JWT, XML, JSON, and CSV data formats.

        • Comfortable working with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure.

          • Experienced in data mapping, transformation, integration testing, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.

            • Familiar with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and automation.

              • Able to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.

                • An effective communicator who can build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and suppliers.

                  • Passionate about continuous improvement, innovation, and learning new technologies.

                    • Committed to delivering excellent customer outcomes and living Karbon's values.

Experience of MuleSoft, DataWeave, event driven architectures, message queuing technologies, and housing management systems would be advantageous.
