Summary

ROLE: Stores OperativeHOURS: Full Time, 40 Hours per Week (Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30)LOCATION: Whitefield, Manchester

We are looking for a Stores Operative to join Vantage Lifting Solutions, part of Mitie Telecoms, supporting the day-to-day running of a busy stores operation in Whitefield, Manchester.

This is a hands-on role where you will help ensure the efficient receipt, storage, tracking and distribution of materials and equipment. You will play a key part in keeping the stores organised, maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring operational teams have the equipment and resources they need to succeed.

Role Responsibilities

-Receive, unload and safely store deliveries.

-Book goods in and out using the inventory management system.

-Maintain accurate stock records and produce inventory reports.

-Keep storage areas clean, organised and compliant with Health & Safety standards.

-Support the movement, handling and distribution of materials and equipment.

-Assist with deliveries, collections and general labouring duties as required.

-Support vehicle management activities, including vehicle tracking, vehicle checks and administration.

-Follow all company policies, procedures and Health & Safety requirements.

Required QualificationsApplicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

-A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.

-Ability to carry out manual handling and physical duties.

-Basic IT skills to support inventory and stock control processes.

-Full UK Driving Licence.

-Fork Lift Truck Licence.
