Summary
We are recruiting for an Internal Account Manager to join a successful and growing organisation based in MediaCity.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Customer Service or Account Management professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships, managing their own accounts and working closely with a field-based sales team.
The role is focused on looking after and developing an established customer base, delivering excellent proactive customer service and identifying opportunities to retain and grow business.
The Role
Working as part of a territory team, your responsibilities will include:
Managing an established portfolio of customer accounts
Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships
Working closely with field-based Account/Business Managers
Arranging customer appointments for the field sales team
Maintaining regular contact with existing customers
Supporting customer retention and re-engaging fluctuating accounts
Responding to incoming enquiries and providing quotations
Following up quotations and helping to close business
Managing customer orders, forecasts, contracts and urgent requirements
Ensuring customer records and account information are kept up to date
Providing a high standard of proactive customer service
Organising sample shipments
Handling customer queries and complaints
Working to maintain a fast response time to customer enquiries
Occasionally accompanying field-based colleagues on customer visits
Participating in sales meetings
Providing additional account and sales support as required
