Leading a broad portfolio, you will be accountable for the delivery of clinical governance, patient safety, clinical effectiveness, patient experience, quality assurance, organisational learning, risk management and regulatory compliance. You will ensure that governance intelligence is translated into meaningful improvement, supporting high-quality care and delivering better outcomes for patients.

Working closely with senior clinical, operational and corporate leaders, you will strengthen quality, reduce unwarranted variation and help embed a culture of learning, improvement and accountability across the organisation.

You will also lead the Trust's engagement with key regulatory bodies, including the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Human Tissue Authority (HTA) and Health and Safety Executive (HSE), ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and organisational readiness for inspection and external review. A key aspect of the role will be to support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Trust's Quality Management System.
