Summary

Provide direction, effective and inspirational leadership to all members of the multi disciplinary team within the area for which they are accountable. Act as an expert clinical practitioner providing through themselves and their theatre team an excellent quality of care to patients and service users. Act as a clinical and managerial role model within the theatre team, CMG and across the wider organisation/Division. Take responsibility for the provision of a supportive learning environment for all students on placement and newly appointed staff within the theatre for which they are responsible. Practice clinically in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for a defined caseload. please see job description/person specification for further details on the role
