About the role
We are looking for reliable, confident Cover Teachers to join our supply pool across secondary schools in Waltham Forest and Essex. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, keep classes engaged and maintain a calm, positive learning environment. Day-to-day and long-term bookings are available, so you can choose the work pattern that suits you.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver set lessons across a range of subjects and key stages
- Manage classroom behaviour using the school's policies
- Support pupils' learning and keep progress moving in the teacher's absence
- Leave clear feedback for the class teacher at the end of each day
- Follow safeguarding procedures at all times
About you
- QTS or equivalent (ECTs welcome)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- Flexible, adaptable and quick to build rapport with pupils
- Experience in UK schools preferred, but not essential
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
