Summary
Plus Care Givers is looking for caring, reliable and compassionate Care Assistants / Support Workers to join our team.
We are recruiting across Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas.
You will support individuals to live safely and independently, providing person-centred care in line with their individual needs and care plans. Duties may include personal care, support with daily living activities, meal preparation, companionship, promoting independence and accurately recording care provided.
You will work closely with individuals, families and other professionals to provide safe, respectful and high-quality support. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
Essential requirements
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, reliable and committed to providing high-quality person-centred care. Applicants should have good communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable using basic IT systems to complete care records. Previous experience in health or social care is desirable but not essential for applicants with the right values and attitude. Applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK and be willing to complete the required pre-employment checks, including an Enhanced DBS and references. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.
