The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Sandwell from October 2026 on a full-time, long-term supply basis.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons, supporting students to develop their mathematical knowledge, understanding, fluency and problem-solving skills.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering effective lessons, assessing student progress and maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will:

- Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics

- Have experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting

- Deliver engaging and appropriately challenging lessons

- Demonstrate effective classroom management skills

- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners

- Be organised, reliable and committed to supporting student progress

- Build positive and professional relationships with students and colleagues

The School

You will be joining an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Sandwell, working as part of the Maths department and wider teaching team.

This full-time, long-term supply opportunity provides a chance to contribute to students’ learning and development while gaining valuable experience within a secondary school environment.
