CAPITAL PROJECT MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced Capital Project Manager to lead multi-million-pound housing and corporate estate investment projects from inception through to completion.

You’ll take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, including project commissioning, scope development, technical reviews, contract administration, procurement, financial control, site management and post-completion. You’ll coordinate multidisciplinary teams and contractors to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead capital projects across RIBA/project delivery stages.

Manage contracts, frameworks, tenders, variations and final accounts.

Control project budgets, spend profiles, forecasting and commercial performance.

Manage CDM, construction risks, statutory compliance and quality.

Lead multidisciplinary teams, consultants and contractors.

Manage resident and stakeholder engagement, including consultations.

Prepare specifications, reports, approvals and KPI information.

Essential Experience:

Proven experience delivering capital/construction projects from inception to completion.

Strong contract administration and commercial/financial management experience.

Experience managing construction budgets, variations and final accounts.

Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and external contractors.

Good knowledge of building maintenance, regulations, statutory compliance and CDM.

Relevant degree/professional qualification or significant equivalent experience.
