Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Vehicle Technician to join a busy and highly reputable automotive dealership in Blackpool. This Vehicle Technician role offers an excellent opportunity for qualified technicians seeking structured training, modern facilities, and clear pathways for career progression within a professional environment. The ideal individual will have a strong desire to develop their skills and contribute to a high standards workshop.

Duties:

- Servicing and maintaining a variety of vehicles, including diagnostics, warranty work, and repairs

- Performing routine tasks such as oil changes, cambelt replacements, and electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs)

- Completing accurate job cards and digital write-ups to ensure transparent communication and maintenance records

- Supporting a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety standards as the Vehicle Technician

- Contributing to a process-driven workshop environment focused on high-quality service delivery

Requirements:

- Recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Engineering

- Experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, ideally with exposure to warranty and routine servicing work

- Strong teamwork skills with a commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail

- MOT Licence is desirable; training will be provided for those without current certification

- Enthusiasm to learn, supported by manufacturer accreditation training and ongoing development opportunities
