We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Technician to join their reputable team in Wigan. Duties of the HGV Technician:

- Conduct servicing and repairs on HGV vehicles to industry standards

- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and technical faults accurately

- Work efficiently both independently and within a team

- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations

- Maintain detailed records of repairs and service history

- Assist with routine vehicle maintenance to reduce downtime

- Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills

- Support workshop operations to meet productivity targets

Requirements of the HGV Technician:

- Qualified HGV Technician with Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent

- Irtec licence highly desirable

- Valid HGV licence advantageous but not essential

- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues

- Proactive team player with excellent attention to detail

- Dedicated to producing high-quality work and maintaining safety standards

- Enthusiastic about continuous professional development
