Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established Prestige Main Dealer in Leeds, for the position of Vehicle Technician. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

- Repair and service a wide range of vehicles to high standards

- Conduct diagnostic checks and identify faults accurately

- Liaise with service advisors, customers, and management to ensure a seamless service experience

- Inspect vehicles for wear and tear, and carry out necessary work in line with DVSA standards

- Assist in mentoring apprentice technicians

- Complete all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repairs as required

- Ensure customer satisfaction through professional communication and quality service

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

- Relevant NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds qualification in Automotive or equivalent

- Own set of tools

- Full UK driving licence

- MOT license is desirable but not essential

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a busy dealership environment

- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills

- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
