Summary
Are you looking for 2 to 3 Long Day shifts per week with weekly pay?
This well-presented Care Home are looking for experienced Care Assistants to work alongside the established team. They are looking for professional Care Workers with experience in looking after residents with illnesses such as Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia Care Needs. Dementia care experience would be advantageous but not essential.
Daily tasks will include:
• Attend to client’s health needs and requirements in a calm, empathetic manner always ensuring their dignity.
• You are expected to perform general housekeeping duties such as laundry and ensuring the home is always clean and tidy.
• Observing the resident’s conditions and reporting accordingly using the company’s reporting systems.
• Always comply with the homes health and safety policy in a professional manner.
For this role, it is essential that you have;
- At least months experience in a Care environment.
- An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service is an advantage. If you don’t, don’t worry we can help if you have the facility to pay for one upfront at the cost of £49.50.
- All relevant mandatory training in Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control and ideally certificates to show for this or we can assist you to gain access to online training platforms.
- 2 years referenceable work experience

This is a temporary role that can become permanent for successful candidates.
Shift times are:-
Long Days 0600 to 2200
Other shifts are available on request.
Rates of pay are £12.71 to £16.90 per hour and you will also accrue up to 28 days paid holiday per year for time served.
