Summary
7.5 Tonne Drivers wanted for regular multi-drop work! We’re currently recruiting reliable 7.5 Tonne Drivers to join an established manufacturing and distribution operation based in Belper.
The role involves delivering finished aluminium products to customers across the local and surrounding areas, with 1–5 drops per day and some manual handling involved.
If you’re an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver looking for regular Monday-to-Friday work and a straightforward delivery role, this could be a great opportunity.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for safely transporting finished products to customers and completing your allocated delivery routes efficiently.
Your duties will include:
Driving a 7.5 Tonne vehicle
Completing approximately 1–5 deliveries per day
Delivering finished aluminium products to customers
Loading and unloading goods
Carrying out some manual handling and handballing
Securing loads safely before leaving site
Completing daily vehicle checks
Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
Maintaining a professional approach when dealing with customers
The role will suit a driver who is comfortable with physical work and takes pride in completing deliveries safely and efficiently.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you’ll need:
Full UK Driving Licence with Category C1 / 7.5 Tonne entitlement
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Valid Driver CPC Card
Previous 7.5 Tonne or multi-drop driving experience
Comfortable carrying out manual handling and handballing Reliable and professional approach
Good timekeeping
Good communication and customer service skills

Regular and consistent weekday shifts

Monday to Friday
6:00 starts
Daytime delivery work
Approximately 1–5 drops per day
Pay and Benefits
£14.50 per hour PAYE
Monday-to-Friday work
Regular weekday hours
Up to 28 days’ annual leave accrued pro rata
