You will support the safe and timely movement of goods while providing a dependable service during daily deliveries and collections.Key responsibilities• Drive a car or van safely and responsibly• Complete deliveries and collections as required• Load, unload and move items using handballing techniques• Check goods and delivery details before departure• Maintain accurate delivery records• Follow agreed routes, schedules and workplace safety procedures• Keep the vehicle clean and report any issues promptly• Provide polite and professional service when dealing with customers and colleaguesSkills and qualifications• Valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle used• Previous driving or delivery experience is useful but not essential• Good knowledge of safe driving practices• Ability to carry out handballing and manual handling tasks• Reliable, organised and punctual• Good communication skills• Able to work independently and follow instructionsAbout the companyThe employer is an established electrical wholesaling business serving trade and professional customers with a broad range of electrical products and related solutions.
