The role is based in Bridgwater and offers the opportunity to join a local operation as part of its delivery and transport activities.The roleAn opportunity is available for a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to support deliveries from a steel fabrication business in Bridgwater. You will complete multi-drop deliveries, often making more than 10 drops per day, while representing the business professionally.Key responsibilities• Carry out planned multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently• Load, secure and unload goods carefully• Complete more than 10 delivery drops when required• Carry out routine vehicle checks and report any issues• Complete delivery paperwork accurately• Communicate professionally with customers and delivery contacts• Follow all road safety, company and legal requirementsSkills and qualifications• Valid licence to drive 7.5-tonne vehicles• Relevant driver qualification requirements, including CPC where applicable• Experience in multi-drop delivery work, ideally involving more than 10 drops• Good knowledge of road safety and vehicle checks• Reliable, organised and punctual approach• Good communication and customer service skills• Physically able to assist with loading and unloadingBenefits• £15 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersIf you are an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver looking for a permanent daytime role in Bridgwater, apply today.
