Summary
Meridian Logistics Ltd is a delivery service partner for one of the world's largest online retailers and is recruiting self-employed multi-drop delivery drivers. We are looking for drivers who put the customer experience first, and we offer long-term work for applicants who want stability and room to grow.
The role involves collecting a van from the delivery station at the start of each shift, completing an assigned route of residential and business deliveries using a handheld device, and returning the vehicle to station at the end of the shift.
Pay and benefits
Day rate of £128.70 plus 20% VAT, invoiced at £154.44.
Average earnings of £131.50 to £160.00 per day including bonuses.
Seasonal incentives run at points through the year and can add a further £15.00 to £25.00 per day.
Training is comprehensive and fully paid: one day of virtual training, two ride-along days with an experienced driver, and supported training routes.
Vehicle provided for deliveries. The van is collected from and returned to station on each shift, so no personal vehicle is needed.
Van, fuel and insurance all provided.
Support with managing your self-employed status through our preferred accounting partner, who can assist with registering as a sole trader and with the associated taxation and administration.
This is a self-employed position. Drivers invoice Meridian Logistics Ltd for the days worked and remain responsible for their own tax and National Insurance, with the accounting support set out above available to help.
