Accounts Assistant - Full Training Provided!
Location: IMMINGHAM
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Are you looking to develop your career in accounts and finance? We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a busy and friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous accounts experience who is looking to further their skills, with full training provided.
✅ Duties Include:
Stock management
Processing payments to suppliers
Payroll administration
Customer invoicing
Bookkeeping activities
Assisting with tax office requirements and due diligence checks
Supporting the preparation of balance sheets, profit & loss reports, and other financial documents
Managing petty cash
Key Requirements:
Previous experience working within an accounts or finance environment is desirable but not essential.
Experience using accounting software, particularly Sage Accounts, would be highly advantageous.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential. While advanced expertise is not required, candidates should be confident using basic Excel functions and spreadsheets.
Strong numerical skills and the ability to work accurately with large volumes of data.
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
Ability to follow instructions, manage workloads effectively, and complete tasks to a high standard.
