CLEANER (PM)Required as soon as possible - permanent12.5 hours per week. 3.00 - 5.30 pm Monday to FridayTerm-time plus 50 hours to be worked during school holidaysGrade 4, Point 6Full time salary: £25,822.00Actual salary: £8,040.66We are looking to recruit a hardworking, dependable and flexible cleaner to join our small and friendly team. The role is important in ensuring that our school is a safe, clean and well maintained environment for students and staff. We offer a supportive working environment and the opportunity to contribute to a positive learning space for our students and staff to thrive.Key responsibilities:• Perform general cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and dusting of classrooms, bathrooms and communal areas• Comply with all relevant health & safety and infection control policies and procedures• Ensure all cleaning supplies are used and stored safely and stocks are replenished, as required• Maintain equipment in good working condition• Report any maintenance or hygiene issues to the cleaning supervisor/facilities manager.We are looking for someone who:• Understands the importance of maintaining hygiene & safety in environments with children• Can work efficiently, independently and takes pride in high standards• Is physically capable of performing repetitive tasks, lifting and bending. • Ideally has experience in a similar setting, although training will be provided.Closing DateThe closing date for completed applications is 12 noon on Tuesday 13 October 2026, with interviews taking place shortly afterwards.
