Barrs Court Primary School is looking to appoint an Afterschool Club Assistant(s) to join our WASP Club team in running our wrap around care provision for children at our school.
This Afterschool Club role is required from 3.00pm – 6.00pm, Monday - Friday (5 days) = 15 hours per week. This role can be split and shared between more than one person.We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic staff member who will be able to work as part of a team to create a fun, safe and inclusive environment. You will help with running the day to day sessions to provide a range of engaging activities including active play, craft activities & quiet time. Our school grounds and buildings provide a perfect environment for our WASP Club.
You will also need to prepare and supervise refreshments for the children.
We are looking for someone who can use their initiative to work on their own, but also enjoy working as part of a team to ensure the well-being and safeguarding of all the children and staff.

We are looking for someone who:
• Would like to work with children or is looking for a career in working with children. Previous experience of working with children would be desirable but not essential.
• Has a proactive ‘can do’ approach
• Has plenty of energy, creativity and good humour
• Has excellent communication skills and is approachable
