Hope House Children’s Hospices have an opportunity for a Part-time Sales Assistant to join our team based at Hope House Shop in Welshpool.

You will join us on a part-time 15 hours per week (working 3 out of 7 days to include weekend working) and on a permanent basis. In return, our Part-time Sales Assistant will receive a competitive rate of £12.71 per hour.

Hope House Children’s Hospices is a charity that gives every local child with life threatening condition and their family access to professional care and improves their quality of life from the point of diagnosis.

About the Part-time Sales Assistant role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part-time Sales Assistant to join our team in Welshpool reporting to the Shop Management.

You will provide excellent customer service to enhance the profile of the organisation and on occasion, you may be required to act as key holder of the shop when required to ensure business continuity throughout the retail department.

What we are looking for a Part-time Sales Assistant who:

Self-motivated using initiative to achieve goals

Able to work in a team with the ability to get on with people

Excellent customer service skills

Well organised and willing to ‘muck in’ and do whatever is required to ensure the shop functions efficiently and effectively.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Numerate with the ability to follow cash handling, recording and banking procedures.
