Summary

About the Role: We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Cleaner to join our team Fairhill Medical Practice. You will play a vital role in ensuring our GP practice is kept to the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and infection control for the safety of our patients, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities: Clean consultation rooms, treatment areas, waiting rooms, staff areas, and toilets Disinfect surfaces and high-touch areas in accordance with infection prevention policies Handle and dispose of clinical waste safely Refill soap, hand sanitiser, and paper products Report any maintenance or cleanliness concerns to the Branch Manager Ensure cleaning materials are stored safely and used correctly About You: Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting (desirable) Understanding of infection prevention and control procedures (training can be provided) Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Able to work independently and follow cleaning schedules Good communication skills and attention to detail We Offer: Friendly, supportive working environment NHS pension eligibility Cleaning supplies provided If you are passionate about creating clean environments and take pride in your work, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as a Medical Cleaner.
