Remarkable Jobs are hiring on behalf of a well-established organisation seeking an experienced and hands-on

Repairs Workshop Technician to join their busy technical workshop team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical electrical and mechanical repair experience who enjoys fault-finding, testing and working with a varied range of technical equipment.

The Role

As a Repairs Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and testing a range of

electrical, mechanical and rigging equipment, ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable and fit for use.

Key responsibilities include:

    •

    Diagnosing faults and carrying out

    electrical and mechanical repairs

    •

    Testing repaired equipment to ensure it is safe and fully operational

    •

    Coordinating

    in-house and external repairs

    •

    Maintaining accurate

    stock control and repair tracking

    •

    Working closely with engineering, inventory and management teams

    •

    Monitoring equipment condition and supporting lifecycle decisions

    •

    Following relevant

    health, safety and risk-control procedures

    •

    Helping ensure equipment remains available, reliable and cost-effective

    What We're Looking For

      •

      Basic knowledge of

      electronic theory

      •

      Experience with

      electrical fault-finding and repairs

      •

      Exposure to

      three-phase electrical systems would be advantageous

      •

      Ability to read and interpret

      technical/CAD drawings

      •

      Good practical mechanical and electrical skills

      •

      Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

      •

      A positive, adaptable and hands-on approach

      •

      Experience within the

      TV, lighting, AV or technical equipment sector would be advantageous
