Summary

The post holder will have the opportunity to actively participate in clinical governance activities. The post holder will have resident doctors working with them and will be expected to provide some clinical supervision for them as appropriate in addition to the ward RC. The post holder will be working with 2.0 WTE FY1 doctors on Kitwood Ward and 3.0 WTE FY1 doctors on Roding Ward. The post holder will provide medical input to the Liaison Psychiatry Team at St Margarets Hospital which receives referrals from medical rehab wards based at the Epping Forest Unit. This involves discussing and supervising assessments carried out by the team and providing medical input as appropriate, including issuing prescriptions where necessary and occasionally carrying out face-to-face assessments. This role is not expected to be more than 1 PA per week
